At ND Recycled Timber Furniture, we are passionate about sustainability, craftsmanship, and creating furniture that tells a story. Founded by Vinko Markoski, who has 29 years of experience working with recycled timber industry. In 2008, ND Recycled Timber Furniture was established, dedicated to crafting high-quality, Australian-made furniture using reclaimed materials. Over the years, our business has grown into a team of skilled artisans, all committed to producing unique, sustainable, and beautifully crafted pieces.

Sustainability & Craftsmanship

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in minimising environmental impact by repurposing timber that has already stood the test of time. Recycled timber carries rich textures, character, and unique features, reflecting its past life while reducing deforestation and waste.

Over the years, we have crafted furniture using salvaged timber from historic Melbourne locations such as the MCG, the original Flemington Racecourse, and Fitzroy Gardens. Our reclaimed materials—sourced from roof beams, floorboards, rafters, and structural supports of old buildings, warehouses, homes, and industrial sites—have allowed us to create unique pieces with rich history and character.

Traditional Techniques & Modern Craftsmanship

Our workshop is a blend of traditional woodworking methods and modern innovation. We honour classic joinery techniques, such as mortice and tenon, tongue and groove, housing joints, and lap joins, ensuring every piece is built for strength, durability, and longevity.

We also craft steel frames and legs in-house, allowing us to seamlessly integrate timber and metal for both structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, we incorporate reclaimed industrial crates, wine boxes, and timber signs, adding unique touches of history and personality to our designs.
